Hetty Cate (or just Cate, she’ll answer to either) lives in California with some of her family, including two spoiled cats who think they are the answer to everything. Hetty has been creating ever since she can remember. She grew up in both Ireland and America, with a love of nature (especially the ocean), mythology, art and movement. Her works have been shown in both the US and Europe. Hetty has also written, illustrated and published one children’s book, so far.
My artwork is influenced by a love of nature, mythology and spirituality. I have an intense love of color that is also reflected in many of my pieces.
I endeavor to explore emotion and mindset in the works I create. I often use color and texture to express this.
